30×48×14 Classic-Style Hobby Barn with Loft and Lean-To Porch
This 30×48×14 hobby barn features a classic gambrel roof design with an attached 11′ lean-to porch along one side, adding both functionality and visual character. The barn includes a 16×10 overhead garage door on the front elevation and a 14×13 overhead door at the rear, providing convenient drive-through access. A French door beneath the porch offers additional entry, along with nine 36″×54″ windows that bring in abundant natural light—four of which are positioned up high in the loft area.
Inside, the gambrel roof is framed with attic trusses that create a spacious loft measuring approximately 20′ wide with 8′ of headroom. This roof style maximizes usable space, making the loft ideal for storage, a workshop, or future finishing.
The lean-to porch is framed with 8×8 posts and matching header beams, giving it a strong, rustic appearance consistent with the main structure. A finished metal ceiling was added beneath the porch, keeping birds out enhancing and overall appearance.
