What does the design process involve?
It really is quite easy to use. We have partnered with a web-based construction design company that has truly taken the custom construction design to the next level. Within a few simple steps you will see your 3D model start to take shape. It will guide you through each stage of your custom design. Then once you have your custom barn design ready for review it will produce a cut and prep list based on the most efficient use of materials.
What options do you have?
Our buildings are all custom, we don’t build fancy homes but we do have a lot of different options. We can do porches with post and beams exposed. We can add unique touches that make it more welcoming as a home or we can do a basic build if you’re looking to save money.
As far as sizes go, it’s all custom so it’s whatever the customer wants. 40×60 is a popular size. 50×80 is also another popular size
What finishes, fixtures and furniture do you provide?
For the most part we only do the shell of buildings. We do not finish out the inside of Barndominiums.
We do not put stalls in a horse barn
Is it possible to have metal or wood installed on the walls and ceilings of the structure?
We do put metal on the walls and ceilings on the inside of a shop or garage and also on porches. We can also put wood on the ceilings of porches.
What about doors and windows?
The horse barn typically has sliding doors and dutch doors Barndominium will have garage doors and French doors with lots of windows.
However, these options are available for any building.
What happens after I submit my design?
We will receive a copy as well and then contact you to confirm that all the specs are exactly what you wanted before moving forward.
